Flatten Stomach And Eliminate Lower Back Pains By Using The Powerhouse

If you think about how you sit or how you stand. You will probably notice that you tend to sink most of your weight into the lower back. This type of pattern will result into poor or improper posture resulting to soreness or stiffness on the lower back area. What we don’t know is we are actually creating the dreaded “belly” or “love handles” which we strive so hard to get rid off.

Pilates is known for creating a flatter stomach. It is also known to strengthen and lengthen the lower back area removing lower back pain and aches.

How is this possible?

All Pilates exercises initiate from the muscles of the abdominals, lower back buttocks and hips. These band of muscles which encircles the torso …just under your belly button is termed as “The Powerhouse”.

The cue is to remember to constantly work from “The powerhouse” with a lifting
